Bulgogi Bimimbap | Korean BBQ

1/2 lb. Beef Ribeye or Sirloin, Thinly Sliced (freeze for about 30 minutes prior to slicing to make it easier to slice)

3 Tbsp Soy Sauce

2 Tbsp Brown Sugar

1 Tbsp Honey

2 Tbsp Mirin or Rice Wine Vinegar

1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

3 each Garlic Clove

1 tsp Black Pepper, ground

1 each Green Onion

1 Asian Pear (Or Regular Bosc or D'Anjou Pear)

1/2 each English Cucumber

1 Tbsp Sambal (Garlic Chile Sauce)

1 Head Broccoli

Sesame Seeds as needed

1 cup Short Grain Japanese Rice (Sushi Rice)

1 jar Prepared Kimchi* (optional but you wouldn't skip it!)

2-4 eggs

 

Have a large nonstick pan or wok handy (preferred), a smaller non-stick pan, alongside a rice cooker/steamer (not needed but a lot easier), a small sauce pot, a slotted spoon, and tongs handy.
